Cloud9 look to transfer CS:GO team; rebuild division again

Cloud9 is looking to rebuild and part ways with their current Counter-Strike: Global Offensive lineup the organization has revealed. In a post to their website the North American organization shared their plans to overhaul the CS:GO division and find their South African-American lineup a new home.

For the time being the team will continue to represent Cloud9 in ESL Pro League Season 12. While the team continues under their brand they’ll be looking to transfer the lineup to another organization. “As a result of this new chapter, our front office is working to find our current roster homes with new teams that are good fits and will help them further their careers, and they will continue to play under the C9 banner until these moves are completed,” the announcement said.

This is the fourth time Cloud9 has attempted to restructure in the last two and a half years as they attempt to become a staple in North America / international Counter-Strike once more. The organization has failed to find much success since their ELEAGUE Major victory in 2018. That roster fell apart shortly after with many of the pieces splitting up to different
