Tempo Esports exit ESL One Germany 2020 at the hands of HellRaisers

After we saw the first team eliminated from ESL One Germany
2020 yesterday, another would exit the event today as HellRaisers and Tempo
Esports opened the days play.

ESL One Germany’s first elimination occurred yesterday after
EXTREMUM were the first team to lose three series during the modified Swiss-format
round robin group stage. Today, another team would exit the tournament as
HellRaisers and Tempo Esports went head-to-head, with both teams currently
sitting on two losses and a third being the final seal in their tournament
lives.

Having played with four different stand-ins so far, HR
decided to change things up again for their series today, utilizing Rinat “KingR”
Abdullin, the player who last played with the squad during OMEGA League: Europe
Divine Division. However, thanks to an unkillable and unstoppable Phantom
Assassin from Alexander “Nix” Levin – which went 18-0-6. HR managed to roll
over their opponents in game one and take the series lead.

But, even after that defeat, Tempo were able to completely
stomp their way through game two, only dropping six kills over the 23-minutes
which it took for things to end and the series to be tied. With that, much like
yesterdays series, it would be down to one final game to determine the next
eliminated team. Even after the extremely demoralizing loss in game two and
another stand-in, HR were more than equal to the task as they pummeled Tempo
into the ground and out of the tournament.

With the 2-1 win, HR keep their tournament hopes alive for
now, until their round four matchup, in which they will require a victory to
remain in ESL One Germany 2020. For Tempo Esports, unfortunately they will be
the second team eliminated after losing three series.
