Fnatic will play in the full formula in the Southeast Asia portion of the competition at BTS Pro Series Season 3 as Daryl Koh “iceiceice” Pei Xiang returns from his vacation earlier than anticipated.
[UPDATE] September 13,2020
Former Geek Fam offlaner, Kenny “Xepher” Deo was announced to stand in starting today, but unfortunately, his last minute addition didn’t yield a better result. Fnatic are now at the bottom of the group with four consecutive games lost.
A month ago, on August 12, the team announced iceiceice’s wish to take a break “until the restart of the DPC.” They went on participating at ESL One Thailand with Lee “Forev” Sang-don standing-in and finished in third place after losing the lower bracket finals to BOOM Esports. Right after the tournament was over, Fnatic underwent a second roster change in the span of a month and waved goodbye to their captain Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong.
With two new players aboard and with the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) expected to return sometime at the beginning of 2021, iceiceice decided to not wait any longer before he would return to action. BTS Pro Series Season 3 can very well be the perfect opportunity for Fnatic to accommodate eyyou and Raven to the team and to fine tune their strategies and the team chemistry with Djardel Jicko B. “DJ” Mampusti assuming now the captain role.
Fnatic roster:
- Marc Polo “Raven” Luic Fausto
- Kam “Moon” Boon Seng
- Daryl Koh “iceiceice” Pei Xiang
- Djardel “DJ” Mampusti
- Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong
Fnatic’s next series is scheduled for tomorrow, September 14 against the fresh ESL One Thailand Champions, TNC Predator.
