mousesports has made a change in their roster following an unsuccessful run at ESL One Cologne 2020 Europe. Özgür “woxic” Eker has been removed from the starting five according to a report from 1pv.fr.
According to the report, the decision was based more around his attitude than his in-game performance because although it has dipped, it’s still in better shape than other members of the lineup. “The decision would be linked to various problems concerning his attitude and not his in-game level,” the report reads.
The Turkish AWPer’s benching will be the first roster move the organization has made in roughly a year and a half outside of adding the sixth man of Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras as a developmental player which they did just last week. It is expected that the most logical step would be adding him to the starting lineup.
Although mousesports had some extremely strong results which saw them move up to the rank of a top team, the current online ecosystem has been less than good for them. The team has been failing to meet expectations and seen a plummet in results including early finishes in nearly every event they’ve participated in.
mousesports CS:GO division:
-Robin “ropz” Kool
-Chris “chrisJ” de Jong
-Finn “karrigan” Andersen
-David “frozen” Čerňanský
-Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras
-Özgür “woxic” Eker (benched)
