XSET Signs Partnership With SCUF Gaming

Recently-launched esports organization XSET has announced a partnership with custom gaming controller maker SCUF Gaming, making it the team’s official controller provider. SCUF will also receive logo placement on XSET jerseys.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

XSET was officially launched in July, and was founded by former FaZe Clan executives George Selkoe, Clinton Sparks, and Wil Eddins, along with Framerate Founder Marco Mereu. The company presents itself as a “gaming lifestyle” brand, and fields teams in several controller-based esports including Madden, Call of Duty, Rocket League, and Fortnite (which can be played either with controller or mouse and keyboard). The organization has also signed players and streamers from World of Warcraft, PUBG MOBILE, and VALORANT.

SCUF Gaming is highly active as a sponsor of console-based esports. The company owned by CORSAIR has signed deals with the NBA 2K League, multiple Call of Duty League teams, and the league itself.
