Assassin’s Creed Mirage Will Reportedly Feature Unity’s Massive Crowds And Rooftop Hiding Places

New details about Assassin's Creed Mirage have been leaked ahead of its official reveal next week, as it's claimed the game will feature massive crowds as seen in Assassin's Creed Unity, throwing knives, rooftop hiding places and more.

These details comes from Assassin's Creed leaker j0nathan, the same person who leaked the title of the game a few days ago, likely prompting Ubisoft to make an official reveal. The leaker has provided more claims that Mirage will take the series "back to basics" by detailing several features that may be included in the final game (thanks, VGC). These include the packed streets of NPCs that was a big selling point for Assassin's Creed Unity and rooftop hiding places that were phased out of the series with the release of Assassin's Creed Origins.

Mirage will also allegedly feature just the one city to explore – that being Baghdad – but it will be split up into four individual sections, each one with a big bad to take down. It's worth noting that while j0nathan was correct about the game's title, he was also initially incorrect about several other details, originally claiming that the game would actually feature four cities instead of just one. With that in mind, it's best to keep a pinch of salt handy and maybe wait for the game's official reveal before making any concrete assumptions.

As for when that will be, the next Ubisoft Forward will take place on September 10 next week and promises a look at several already announced titles as well as the official reveal of Assassin's Creed Mirage. We don't know what else will be there, but Ubisoft has a number of titles currently in development, including Beyond Good & Evil 2, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Skull & Bones, and Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope.
