Journey has you playing as a hooded adventurer as they soar through a variety of desolate and gorgeous locations to discover the mysteries of these strange lands. It features cooperative multiplayer, a short campaign that clocks in at about two hours, and a score written by Austin Wintory, a composer of a bunch of other critically acclaimed games such as Abzu, The Banner Saga franchise, John Wick Hex, and others.
We awarded the game a 10/10 in our original Journey review, saying, “But Journey’s real rewards aren’t so pedestrian. Journey offers you comfort. It gives you companionship in a lovely but forsaken world. It gives you reason to dream even when facing loss.” It’s one of the 18 games that has earned the 10/10 rating from GameSpot.
