Blizzard down reports are on the rise with BattleNet users reported being hit with a ‘busy day’ error message and a lengthy login queue.
Independent outage monitor Down Detector has seen a surge in Blizzard BattleNet server down reports today.
Out of those affected some 60 per cent are experiencing login issues while others are facing Blizzard BattleNet server connection issues.
The Down Detector outage map says the Blizzard BattleNet down issues are mainly facing users in the UK and Europe.
The official Blizzard Customer Support Twitter for Europe has confirmed they have received login error reports.
The Blizzard CS EU Twitter posted: “We are currently investigating reports of login issues.
“Apologies for any inconvenience caused. #BlizzardCS”.
The Blizzard Customer Support account for The Americas later added: “Currently investigating authentication and login issues.
“Thank you for your patience.”
As the reported Blizzard BattleNet issues hit users took to social networking site Twitter to report the server problems they were facing.
Users posted screengrabs of the a message they were receiving when they tried to login which showed wait times of over two hours in some cases.
The login error message said: “It’s a busy day for Blizzard Services! To help everyone log in you’ve been placed in a queue.
“Please leave this window open and we’ll get you in as quickly as possible.”
Elsewhere Blizzard BattleNet users posted on Twitter the issues they were facing trying to log into the service.
One tweeted: “BRO WHAT?? How do I move back in the queue? @Blizzard_Ent”.
Another posted: “Blizzard servers gets overcrowded today”.
One added: “@Blizzard_Ent fix your servers I’m not waiting 172 minutes to play Overwatch”.
And another wrote: “@blizzard Overwatch servers are down please fix @playoverwatch @BlizzardCSEU_EN @BlizzardCS”.
