Call of Duty Mobile update: Activision brings popular new feature to iOS and Android hit

Call of Duty Mobile fans have seen the hit iOS and Android game get a popular new feature added by Activision.

Call of Duty Mobile has only been out for a few weeks but already has become a massive hit for Activision.

In its first week Call of Duty Mobile was downloaded a staggering 102million times.

That’s according to a study which puts PUBG Mobile as having 28million downloads in its first week with Fortnite on 22.5million.

And following the successful Call of Duty Mobile launch on October 1 fans can expect plenty of new updates to the game.

The Call of Duty Mobile Zombies mode is one highly anticipated new feature that fans are waiting for a release date on.

While COD Mobile fans are also hoping that controller support will get added to the iOS and Android free-to-play title.

But in the meantime Activision has added a popular feature to Call of Duty Mobile this week.

Activision has added the classic Gun Game mode to Call of Duty Mobile’s multiplayer playlist.

Gun Game will be available in Call of Duty Mobile for a limited time only.

For those that don’t know, Gun Game is a mode where each time you register a kill you get a new weapon.

Each new weapon that you get is progressively more powerful than the last, but when you die you revert to the very first weapon you were given.

Call of Duty Mobile players will need to be at level eight to play the mode, GamingBolt reported in a post online.

In other Call of Duty Mobile news Activision recently gave fans an update about the in-demand controller support feature.

Activision has confirmed that the popular feature is being tested right now by the COD Mobile development team.

The bad news is that there is still no word on an official release date.

Here’s the latest update from Activision on the return of Controller Support: “We hear you loud and clear that you want to know about controller support.

“We are currently testing controller support and looking at the possibility of offering this feature sometime in the future, but we’d have to make sure it is properly implemented and balanced.

“Just hang tight.”
