Call of Duty: Warzone has had its fair share of bugs over the last year. However, there’sone that just refuses to stay dead: the infinite stim bug, which has been patched for the third time this year.
Warzone has been making Activision a lot of money, but it’s still no stranger to some gnarly bugs. Some of these are game-breaking, like one where players could make themselves invisible. Or the one where players could crash the entire game by using a vehicle out of bounds. Others are less game-breaking, but only barely so.
This, though, is the only bug that has somehow managed to remain in the game through three different attempts to remove it and several months of updates. The most recent attempt to kill this cockroach of a bug came just two days ago.
About a month ago, we reported that the infinite stim glitch had returned, and people were using it to hide in the gas until the game ended. Of course, the first time that we saw the gas being used as a lifeline, instead of the killer that it was meant to be, was back in March when squads were found healing each other as the gas killed the other players.
This time around, you didn’t need to have a team of people to help you, because simply walking out of bounds or into water would allow you to use infinite stims once you were down. It would be one thing if you could continue to fight in the gas, but since nobody is being forced together, there is no way to find anyone to complete the game.
While the bug’s been taken out yet again, we have a feeling that we haven’t seen last of it.
