Developers Bend Studio has confirmed when Days Gone for PC will be available to play this week.
The good news is that some will get to start exploring the post-apocalyptic adventure a little earlier than the official May 18 release date.
And while others might not get access straight away at midnight, it looks like everyone will get to start exploring Days Gone PC early on May 18.
As many gamers will already know, Days Gone is a Sony first-party exclusive, which will for the first time become playable this week on the PC platform.
It follows the story of Deacon St. John, a drifter and bounty hunter who is constantly fighting to find supplies and ward off the hordes of the undead.
The full description adds: “From forests and meadows, to snowy plains and desert lava fields, the Pacific Northwest is both beautiful and lethal. Explore a variety of mountains, caves, mines and small rural towns, scarred by millions of years of volcanic activity.
“With vicious gangs and hordes of Freakers roaming the land, you’ll need to make full use of a variety of customizable traps, weapons, and upgradable skills to stay alive. Don’t forget your Drifter bike, an invaluable tool in a vast land.
“Jump on the saddle of Deacon’s trusty motorbike and explore a dynamic world dramatically affected by the weather, a dramatic day/night cycle and the evolving Freakers, who adjust to their surroundings – and the people in it.”
Days Gone on PC will boast all the post-launch content found from the PS4 version, including Survival Mode, Challenge Mode and Bike Skins – once you have completed the main story, you can access New Game Plus.
