Fall Asleep Easily With This Stardew Valley Lullaby Remix Album

Stardew Valley’s soundtrack is already pretty calming, as far as video game music goes, but this new album takes Stardew’s casual vibe to downright sedentary levels.

Scarlet Moon Productions’ latest entry into their Prescription for Sleep jazz album series features 11 Stardew Valley songs that have been remixed into lullabies to send you to sleep while dreaming of digital farm work. The 11th in their series, previous albums feature remixed soundtracks from classic games like Undertale, Shovel Knight, and Celeste.

The album arrives May 19 with performances by Gentle Love, made up of Metal Gear Solid saxophonist Norihiko Hibino Etrian Odyssey pianist Stardew creator/developer/composer Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone collaborated on the remix album and chose which of Stardew’s 11 songs to feature as lullabies.

“As a long-time fan of Gentle Love, it’s been an honor and a pleasure to collaborate with them,” said ConcernedApe. “I believe this is a deeply relaxing and beautiful album.”

Scarlet Moon founder Jayson Napolitano added: “I almost feel bad that we turned things around and put him to work, but I must say having the personal touch of the composer and creator of Stardew Valley makes this volume all that much more meaningful. We hope fans enjoy it and continue to enjoy the series long into the future!”

Prescription for Sleep: Stardew Valley arrives May 19 in physical form, but you can already listen to the album on Bandcamp, iTunes, and YouTube via Gentle Love’s channel.

The Stardew Valley tabletop board game also recently released and was sold out in just a few hours. Unlike the video game, which you can theoretically play forever, the Stardew Valley board game is designed to be played with a group of four players in just 45 minutes.
