A while ago Epic Games started a monthly Fortnite subscription service that had a ton of perks. It's definitely beneficial for players that tend to buy V-Bucks often or simply enjoy exclusive cosmetics.

However, it's not uncommon to not like what's included with the pack or simply not want to pay recurring payments and want out of the subscription. In this article, we'll show you exactly how you can cancel your Fortnite Crew subscription – this differs depending on the platform you're using so we'll go over all of them.

How Much Does Fortnite Crew Cost?

What might incline someone to cancel their Fortnite Crew subscription is its cost. Fortnite Crew costs $11.99 a month if you have recurring payments activated. These are automatically turned on so if you don't want that to happen, you'll have to manually cancel it.

And what does the subscription include? Each month you'll receive a new skin as well as a matching accessory. If you already own the Battle Pass, you'll get 950 V-Bucks refunded to you and if there's a new Season coming out while you have the subscription activated, you'll receive that as well. Fortnite Crew members will always own the Battle Pass since it's included with the subscription. On top of that, each time your subscription renews, you'll receive 1,000 V-Bucks.

When Will Your Subscription Renew?

If you're subscribed to Fortnite Crew and have recurring payments activated then your billing date, meaning when you'll be charged, is the same day that you originally bought the membership. So, if you're thinking about canceling your subscription and don't want to be charged again, you'll have to do it before your billing date.

How To Cancel Your Fortnite Crew Subscription

Canceling your Fortnite Crew subscription might not be as easy as it sounds. Ideally, it would be done simply by clicking a 'cancel' button, but this actually depends on the platform in which you bought the membership in the first place. Our guide will go over each cancelation method, so scroll down to your preferred platform.

PC And Android

If you purchased Fortnite Crew on PC or Android, you'll have to cancel your subscription through the Epic Games website.

  • Visit the Epic Games website and log into your account.
  • In the top right corner of the screen, select your username and then press 'Account'.
  • Go down to the 'Subscriptions' section, where you can manage your subscriptions.
  • Select the Setting icon and then press 'Cancel Subscription'.

Xbox

If you purchased Fortnite Crew on Xbox, you'll have to cancel your subscription through the Microsoft website.

  • Visit the Microsoft website and log into your account.
  • Then, select 'Services and Subscriptions' on the blue bar – here you will be able to see all your Microsoft subscriptions such as Game Pass, for example.
  • In the Fortnite Crew section, select 'Manage'.
  • You will be taken to another page; select 'Turn off recurring billing'.

On this page, you can also select the 'Cancel subscription' option which might sound like the option you're looking for, but it's a bit misleading. The 'Cancel subscription' option takes you to a page that allows you to contact support and ask for a refund of your subscription. This will result in Fortnite Crew membership items being removed from your account; the Battle Pass won't be removed, but you will lose 950 V-Bucks.

Playstation

If you purchased Fortnite Crew on Playstation, you'll have to cancel your subscription through the Playstation Store website.

  • Visit the Playstation Store website and log into your account.
  • In the top right corner of the screen, select your account icon.
  • Select 'Manage subscriptions' and then on the Fortnite Crew subscription select 'Turn off auto renew'.

Nintendo Switch

If you purchased Fortnite Crew on Playstation, you'll have to cancel your subscription through the Nintendo eShop.

  • Visit the Nintendo eShop on your console (you can access it on your HOME page).
  • In the top right corner of the screen, select your account icon.
  • Select 'Subscriptions' and then on the Fortnite Crew subscription select 'Turn off automatic renewal'.

Samsung

If you purchased Fortnite Crew on a Samsung device, you'll have to cancel your subscription through the Galaxy Store.

  • Visit the Galaxy Store on your Samsung device.
  • Open the menu and select 'Subscriptions'.
  • Choose Fortnite and then select 'Cancel'.

Canceling your subscription won't prematurely revoke your Fortnite Crew member privileges and you will not lose your items (unless you ask for a full refund through the Microsoft website.) Even if you do it on the day right after subscribing, you will remain a member until the day before your supposed billing date.
