There is also a dig site which will probably become increasingly relevant as the season progresses and may well lead to another new area at the beginning of next season. Who knows what kind of structure it could end up becoming or what could possibly come out of it. No doubt this will be a good place to stock up on building materials at least.
At the moment it is all yellow and pipe-y. That’s a word now.
It also looks as though it could be building something or possible excavating something too. Maybe there is alien life, maybe there will be an X-Files crossover, maybe they are just trying to rebuild? Maybe the alien life is trying to rebuild? The options are limitless but the answer is probably something else, they like to keep us on our toes.
You would think they would have learned a lesson from Pompeii to be fair, who thinks it is a good idea to settle new near a volcano anyway. It’s like you’re asking to be set on fire and have to rebuild. Maybe the building industry is really good in Fortnite. Wait, is that literally what the game is based on?
