Most of the fun of Genshin Impact comes from all of the events and quests you can accidentally stumble upon in the giant open world. These can come in a variety of sizes and types, but there are a few that are more entertaining and rewarding than others. The And This Treasure Goes To quest in particular is one that every player should seek out for some easy loot. Because it isn’t part of the main story, though, you have to know where to look if you want to take on this fun little side quest. Here’s a complete guide to the And This Treasure Goes To quest in Genshin Impact.
And This Treasure Goes To Quest Location
Finding the And This Treasure Goes To isn’t difficult at all once you know where to look. First, head into the Liyue region and head to the Lingju Pass. On the Eastern side of the water, you will come across a woman named Alrani held captive in a large cage. This will kick off the quest.

Your first step, naturally, will be to wipe out the group of Treasure Hoarders in the area. They can be tricky, wielding a bunch of different spell types to annoy you with, but shouldn’t be much of an issue. Wiping out the lot will cause a treasure chest to become accessible, and grant you the key to the Alrani’s cage. She will explain that she was put in there because the Treasure Hoarders wanted the location of a hidden treasure she had discovered.
For saving her, she will give you a clue as to where to find said buried treasure which is, “underneath that giant golden tree in the middle of Lingju Pass”. Thankfully this golden tree is just below you on an island in the small lake. It is hard to miss the golden-colored leaves on this massive tree. You are free to glide right over to it, though be careful of the high-level Skirmishers in the area. You can avoid fighting them if you don’t land too close.
Check around the base of the tree trunk for a small patch of dirt in the otherwise grassy ground and hit the prompt to mine when it pops up. A chest will appear and once you collect the rewards the quest will be complete.
