Ghost of Tsushima fans could be getting a major update on the major PS4 exclusive at the upcoming Sony PlayStation State of Play broadcast. Ghost of Tsushima is one of the biggest PS4 games on the horizon, but fans of Sucker Punch’s next title have not had an update in quite awhile. Ghost of Tsushima was first revealed during Paris Games Week 2017 and Sony next revealed a PS4 gameplay trailer at E3 2018.
However, since then PS4 fans have had a barren Ghost of Tsushima news run with no new trailers or footage of the PlayStation exclusive dropping.
But this could all be about to change soon with Ghost of Tsushima rumoured to be making a re-appearance at the upcoming State of Play broadcast.
Sony will be holding their final State of Play presentation of the year on Tuesday December 10 at 2pm UK.
Sony has confirmed that the next State of Play will last around 20 minutes and feature new game reveals as well as fresh gameplay footage.
And the PlayStation makers have already confirmed that the PS5 will not be featuring in State of Play in “this episode” – hinting at a future reveal.
But it looks like Sony could be ending 2019 with a bang by finally revealing another update on Ghost of Tsushima.
Tweeter @Nibellion noticed something very curious around the time that Sony announced their next State of Play broadcast.
Nibel spotted that the official PlayStation YouTube channel updated their playlist for Ghost of Tsushima around the time that State of Play was announced.

This could be a sign that the PlayStation YouTube is getting ready for another Ghost of Tsushima video to drop.
And if that’s the case, then this could be a new Ghost of Tsushima trailer or more gameplay footage being revealed at State of Play.
If a new Ghost of Tsushima trailer does drop during State of Play then it’s possible the release date could get also confirmed.
Ghost of Tsushima is the only announced PS4 exclusive on the horizon which does not have a confirmed release date.
It is rumoured that Sucker Punch’s samurai sim will be launching in late 2020.
Kotaku journalist Jason Schreier said Ghost of Tsushima had originally been planned for a release earlier on.

But the delay to the Last of Us 2 had a knock-on effect of pushing back the release of Tsushima.
On Twitter previously Schreier said: “BTW, Ghost of Tsushima doesn’t have a public release date yet, but it’ll also be bumped later into 2020 to account for this delay.
“Don’t expect them to suddenly turn it into a PS5 game or anything, but it was originally planned for the first half of the year – not anymore”.
Sony announced the upcoming State of Play broadcast in a post on their blog last week.
Here’s what the PlayStation makers said: “The year is almost over, but we’ve got one more State of Play to share with you!
“It airs Tuesday, 10th December at 2pm GMT / 3pm CET, and you can watch live on Twitch, YouTube and Facebook.
“We’ve got around 20 minutes of new game reveals, release date announcements, new gameplay footage, PlayStation Worldwide Studios updates, and more.
“And it probably bears repeating: Don’t expect any updates related to our next-gen plans in this episode.
“You can watch live on Twitch, YouTube and Facebook, as usual. Can’t wait to see what you think!
“See you Tuesday!”
