Google Stadia has been given an official November release date.
During the company’s Made By Google event in New York on Tuesday, Google hardware boss Rick Osterloh confirmed the game streaming service will launch on 19 November.
We previously knew the streaming service would release in November, but no exact release date had been released until now.
Stadia will launch across 14 territories on this date, including the US, UK and Canada, with at least 31 games from 21 different publishers available.
If you’re unfamiliar, the service allows you to play top-tier games like Borderlands 3 and Red Dead Redemption II on your TV, laptop, desktop, and certain phones and tablets.
The price for a one month subscription to Stadia is £8.99, but you’ll have to purchase the £119 Founder’s Pack if you want to use the service from day one.
The Founder’s Pack contains a three-month subscription (with a Buddy Pass for a friend), a Chromecast Ultra dongle (needed to get Stadia working on a TV), a limited edition Night Blue Stadia Controller, and the chance to get the Stadia Name (gamertag equivalent) you want before anyone else.
You’ll also get access to certain games and discounts, including access to Destiny 2: The Collection at launch.
