Bethesda has partnered up with Rebel Distillers for Doom Bone Vodka, brewed in the deepest reaches of Hell and finely crafted from demon corpses donated by Doomguy.
Some people like to call alcohol the Devil’s drink, while others like to call it the Eternal Doom of drinks. Doom Bone Vodka is a limited edition alcoholic beverage which will be out in Europe and Australia sometime before the release of Doom Eternal on 22 November.
There is no information on when, or if, the rest of the world will be able to get their hands on it, but you can be notified when it does via email sign-up.
The vodka is selling itself as the first ever to use bones in its recipe, which are sourced from supposedly world famous butchers The Ginger Pig. We’ve heard of whisky infused with music, and vodka using diamonds, before but never bone.
Doom Bone Vodka’s website asks you one vital question: ‘How do you drink?’
Well, firstly, thank you for asking, we like to drink through the skulls of recently deceased Cacodemons, while bathed in the blood of demons; as that is the Doomguy way. However, the website does have another answer if you are fresh out of demon corpses.
‘However you damn well like, but to luge it ice cold through a bone always impresses,’ it declares.
The website definitely has the advertising down to a tee with this brilliant slogan: ‘If Hell created vodka….’
Vodka is not the first refreshment that Bethesda has brought to the world – can you remember officially licensed Fallout beer, that was only made available in the UK?
