Here's What Time Xbox Series X And S Preorders Go Live

Preorders for the Xbox Series X and Series S will open on September 22 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET, according to a listing on Target’s website. This news follows a UK start time being announced on Twitter by Samuel Bateman, the marketing lead of Xbox UK; in that region, preorders will open at 8 AM BST.

While there’s no reason to doubt the Target listing, we’ve reached out to Microsoft for official confirmation regarding when Xbox preorders will begin in the US.

The September 22 date for poreorders was announced last week when the price points for both consoles, $499 for the Series X and $299 for the Series S, and their November 10 release date, were revealed. Both consoles will be part of Xbox’s financing program, Xbox All Access. Through this program, customers can pay for their new consoles in monthly payments over the course of 24 months, instead of having to provide the full cost up-front.

PlayStation hasn’t provided as much info on its next-gen plans as of yet, but that may change during today’s PS5 showcase. The show is supposed to provide updates from Worldwide Studios, and Sony’s other development partners on their upcoming titles.
