While most of your social links in Persona 4 Golden involve you hanging out with friends around Inaba and helping them with their problems, Margaret from the Velvet Room is a little different. Instead of ranking up your social link with Margaret by spending time together, she wants you to complete some specific fusions for her.

Margaret’s Persona 4 Golden Social Link, Explained

You’re able to begin Margaret’s social link as early as 5/19 by visiting the Velvet Room after achieving Level 3 Knowledge. The ranks begin automatically, but to reach Rank 2 and beyond, you’ll need to put in some work.

She explains in her Rank 1 scene that she’ll be testing your Persona fusion capabilities, by way of requesting that you show her Personas with specific skills. She’ll give you the name of a Persona and the skills she wants it to have at each rank, and then the rest is up to you to figure out.

There are a few different ways you can fuse the Personas that Margaret wants in Persona 4 Golden.

  • Fuse Jack Frost that knows Auto-Sukukaja with a Pyro Jack, King Frost, Ghoul, and Pixie.
