PS4 owners had better hurry if they want to take advantage of some free game bonuses.
For starters, there’s the Firewall Zero Hour free trial, which is a must if you own a PSVR headset.
One of the best PlayStation VR games out right now, Firewall is a tactical shooter that takes advantage of Sony’s virtual reality device.
Sony explains more on the PlayStation Store, confirming that progress will be carried over to the full release.
“From 28 August to 3 September, you can play Firewall Zero Hour for free and keep your game progress by upgrading to the full game.
“Active PS Plus membership is required to access this free game trial and online features.”
There’s no word on an exact end time, so don’t delay if you want to try this PSVR shooter classic at no cost.
It’s also your last chance to download the August 2019 free PS Plus games.
Ahead of the release of Batman: Arkham Knight and Darksiders III on PS Plus, fans can pick up last month’s games.
Available until the morning of September 3, the free games include WipEout Omega Collection and Sniper Elite 4.
Sniper Elite is a Rebellion developed stealth shooter set during World War 2.
“Set in the aftermath of its award-winning predecessor, Sniper Elite 4 transports players across the beautiful Italian peninsula, from sun-drenched Mediterranean coastal towns, to ancient forests, mountain valleys and colossal fortresses,” reads the official description.
“Covert agent and elite marksman Karl Fairburne must fight alongside the brave men and women of the Italian Resistance and defeat a terrifying new threat with the potential to halt the Allied fightback in Europe before it’s even begun.”
WipEout Omega Collection, on the other hand, combines two games in one ultimate package.
“Rip through the air at breakneck speeds in adrenalin-fuelled races won or lost in the blink of an eye,” reads the WipEout Omega Collection description.
“Race 26 reversible tracks, 46 unique ships and 9 game modes from fan-favourites WipEout HD Fury and WipEout 2048 – and even pilot a brand-new exclusive ship.”
As an added bonus, WipEout Omega Collection is also playable in VR – and happens to be one of the better games on Sony’s PSVR device.
