PS4 gamers can download top new PlayStation experiences this week at no extra cost.
For anyone looking for something new to try out, there’s a couple of options available on the PlayStation Store.
And this includes a brand new demo for upcoming anime title – KILL la KILL – IF, as well as a unique PlayLink experience.
Melbits World is a new puzzle game that can be downloaded to a tablet/smartphone from their device’s app store – and then connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the PS4 console.
This will allow access to the new Melbits Demo, which has a good PSN review rating following its launch earlier in 2019.
“The cooperative puzzle-platformer game that will equally charm and challenge your friends and family, communication and coordination is the key to success in the Melbits mission,” the official game description reads.
“Discover these collectable digital creatures on the Melbits World demo and guide them through fiendish levels full of traps, all while they dodge evil viruses, gather seeds and spread good vibes across the Internet.”

The Melbits demo is less than 500MB to install and isn’t the only new demo being added to the PlayStation Store.
Not available in all regions, the new Kill la Kill demo can be downloaded on PS4, starting Monday, July 8. That means a little wait for fans hoping to download and try out the new fighting game this weekend.
It should also be noted that the official release date could be a little different, depending on what region you’re playing PS4 games in.
From what has been shared so far, gamers will be able to experience an early part of the game, as well as the multiplayer mode.
It is not expected to be a timed trial, meaning it should remain on the PlayStation Store over the coming month. It will also provide fans with their first taste of gameplay before the full version launches later in July.
A recent announcement regarding the new demo reads: “We’re very happy to announce that on the 8th of July, a demo for KILL la KILL IF will launch on PS4!
“It’ll feature the first chapter of story mode, and versus mode with Ryuko, Satsuki, Gamagoori, and Uzu as playable characters!”
“The critically acclaimed 2013 anime title that shook the streets of Honnou City, ‘KILL la KILL’ finally makes a comeback as an action fighting game,” the official game description adds.
“Play as Satsuki Kiryuin, Ryuko Matoi, and more, and indulge in the alternate story that will draw you deeper into the vivid and action-filled world of ‘KILL la KILL’.”
The downside for fans in the United States is that the new PlayStation Store demo will only be available to those who have pre-ordered the game.
It’s unclear why it is different in the two regions, but it will mean having to set up a European PS Store account to gain access.
And if that isn’t your idea of fun, then there is also a recently launched Dragons Quest Builders Demo available to download and play.
Costing nothing to add to your console, the new trial offers an excellent scope of gameplay to enjoy before the game launches later this month.
Dragon Quest Builders 2 is scheduled to launch on PS4 on July 12 and is sure to be a big seller among its dedicated fanbase.
The demo provides a great first look at the new Dragon Quest Builders setting, and the download is also easy to install.
Weighing in at less than 2GB, the new RPG adventure title has an age rating of 7+, making it a good choice for younger gamers.
Over 500 fans who have downloaded and played the new demo from the PS Store have given it an average 4.75 out of 5.
