Ring Fit Adventure Nintendo Switch stock: Where can I buy Nintendo fitness game?

Ring Fit Adventure is the Nintendo Switch’s answer to Wii Fit and could come as a life raft for the millions of people currently stuck inside. For those who aren’t satisfied with the government’s provision to allow people out for one day for exercise, Ring Fit promises to help them keep a little more active.

Where can you buy Ring Fit Adventure?

Ring Fit Adventure launched on October 18 last year and quickly became an immensely popular game.

The game is a fitness-oriented action RPG which comes with the “ring-con”, a flexible ring attachment for the switch controllers which people can use in a variety of exercises.

Players can jog in place and use other exercises to defeat a bodybuilding dragon and his minions, with a host of workouts to keep fitness fun.

While Ring Fit Adventures started with a steady following, its popularity has recently exploded.

According to TechRadar, the game is sold out in the US and Australia, currently unobtainable without paying an “extortionate” amount.

In the UK, however, there are places with a limited stock of the game.

eBay has several listings for the game, but people should be aware some of these are for the Ring Con only.

Most eBay listings are selling it at a marked up price, some up to £50 more expensive than retail.

Other than eBay, snatching a copy of Ring Fit Adventures will prove difficult, as the Nintendo Store and Amazon have both sold out.

Nintendo said stock is “extremely limited”, while Amazon expects more copies on April 24.

Used copies on the site are selling for roughly £189.99, more than £100 more than the current listed price of £79.99.

Argos has also warned customers it has limited stock.

Nintendo’s main problem with Ring Fit Adventure stock is its lack of digital availability.

Prospective players require the Ring Con to play, and using only the Joy-Con is not an option.

People who have missed out on the experience need fear not, however, as Nintendo has alternatives.

Those looking for a close relative to Ring Fit Adventure can take up Fitness Boxing, which sees people trained by a virtual personal trainer.

The game uses the motion controllers as ARMS does, allowing people to perform punches and slips where prompted.

The Switch also boasts two other unusual fitness games, Zumba: Burn it Up, and Just Dance 2020.

Both games will see people work up a sweat through dance, the former with an interactive Zumba class and the latter with a host of routines to tracks from the likes of Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X.
