Saints Row Boss Factory Is Already Being Used To Make A Bunch Of Memes

Saints Row developer Volition dropped a demo for the upcoming reboot this week, following an appearance at Summer Game Fest. And in true Saints Row fashion, it shows off the best bit of any game in the franchise – the character creator. Boss Factory is available to download now on PC, Xbox and PlayStation, and fans are already making good use of all its new features.

The Boss Factory online gallery is, unsurprisingly, already full of shitposts. In less than 48 hours since its launch, fans have flooded the Saints Row Hall of Fame with eerily accurate renditions of Morbius, Waluigi, Big Smoke, the Chad meme, and much, much more. Better yet, all of these bosses are available to download to your own account, so you can run around as them all when the game launches later this year.

In a true testament to the quality of the new character creator, all of the recreated memes are instantly recognizable. In the Hall of Fame section at the time of writing, we have Shaggy in the top spot, followed by Walter White and Megamind.

These creations are aided by the fact that pretty much everything is on a slider, giving us limitless possibilities when it comes to how we want to arrange our character's face and body. A new feature even allows us to customize both sides of our face separately, opening up even more possibilities.

With even more features to come in the final release, it remains to be seen what else the fans will create later this year. Even with the limited options we have on hand, players have no trouble filling the front page with memes, or even accurately recreated characters from other games.

Saints Row is set to launch August 23, 2022. It will be available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
