Shroud net worth uncovered as streamer follows Ninja to join Microsoft’s Mixer

Streamer Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek has joined Ninja in signing an exclusive deal with Mixer.

The streaming platform offered Shroud an undisclosed amount of money to leave his seven million Twitch followers, and move his stream to their site.

The 25-year-old had one of the most-watched channels on Twitch, bringing in an average of 25,000 viewers per stream.

While it hasn’t been disclosed how much money was involved, it is thought to be pretty sizeable.

Former professional Starcraft and Hearthstone player Sebastian “Forsen” Fors estimated Ninja’s contract was in the ballpark of $6-$8million over a three-year period.

Before making the move to Mixer, the Canadian gamer was thought to be worth an estimated $4million, according to Net Worth Reporter.

The website reported the figure in June 2019, so his net worth has most likely surged since the deal with Mixer.

Twitch pays active video streamers $3,000 per 1000 subscribers per month.

So the rival platform will have no doubt offered the streamer an even better looking package.

The gamer has also raked in thousands of dollars in prize money for gaming championships.

According to the website GameByte, Shroud made a whopping $100,000 a month from subscribers alone.

He also has several affiliate deals and sponsorship, such as Crunchyroll, which help him bring money in.
