Tales From The Borderlands Now Available On Switch For Just $19.99

After re-releasing on PC in February, Tales from the Borderlands has now found its way onto Nintendo Switch. For a limited time you can pick the game up for just $19.99 – its price will jump to $24.99 on April 14.

Tales from the Borderlands was originally launched in an episodic format, with five episodes released between November 2014 and October 2015. The narrative-driven adventure is much different from other titles in the series, as this one is heavily influenced by player choice and puts a much larger emphasis on the story. If you’re looking for something with lots of guns and frantic action, this isn’t the game for you. However, if you’re looking for a solid adventure title, this one fits the bill perfectly.

“Fiona is a full-time con-artist who has been scheming to make a fortune selling a fake Vault Key,” Gearbox said. “Rhys—who you might know from Borderlands 3 as the Atlas Corporation CEO—is an ambitious Hyperion employee who idolizes the recently deceased Handsome Jack and is in the market for a Vault Key.”

The two try to make a deal, but things don’t go exactly as planned. The rest of the story is up to you, as you’ll make game-changing decisions while meeting familiar faces such as Moxxi, Zer0, Marcus, and Claptrap.

Tales from the Borderlands on Switch includes all five episodes, letting you binge the entire series as you see fit. Here’s the full list of content:

  • Episode 1 – Zer0 Sum
  • Episode 2 – Atlas Mugged
  • Episode 3 – Catch a Ride
  • Episode 4 – Escape Plan Bravo
  • Episode 5 – The Vault of the Traveler

Meanwhile, Borderlands 3 is gearing up to launch the Director’s Cut DLC on April 8, bringing a new raid boss and murder mystery missions to the looter-shooter. The DLC was supposed to arrive sooner, but the massive power outages in Texas earlier this year put a halt to its production.

Tales from the Borderlands is now available on Switch for $19.99. You can also find it on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and PC.
