Another EA sports title is still due for a big reveal, namely UFC 4, which is said to feature Tyson Fury as a playable character.
EA already announced a number of sports titles due out later this year, such as FIFA 21 and Madden NFL 21.
However, the publisher still has at least one more to be officially annouced, and it is UFC 4, the fourth instalment in the mixed martial arts series, which first began in 2014 and has had a new entry every couple of years.
The official UFC Twitter account posted a promotion about the upcoming UFC 251 event, which is set to take place on 11 July.
This was then retweeted by EA Sports UFC, which seems to heavily suggest that the game will be revealed during the event.
Details about the game are sparse, but in an interview with The Fight Guys on YouTube, sportswriter Brian Mazique shared a couple of titbits.
Firstly, UFC 4 will release on both current and next gen platforms, which is a safe assumption to make since all of EA’s other sports titles are doing the same, though there’s apparently no word on a PC release.
According to Mazique, two prominent British boxers will appear as unlockable playable characters: Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.
This seems believable, as Mike Tyson was made playable in UFC 3.
UFC 4 will be revealed on 11 July.
