Yes, Lil Nas X Is Hosting A Concert In Roblox

Roblox has teamed up with Lil Nas X to host a “virtual live concert experience” on November 14. It’s been a year filled with wild, in-game concerts, so why not add one more to the list?

On November 14 at 1pm PST, you’ll be able to view the first-ever virtual concert in Roblox history. Lil Nas X will be debuting his new single, and Roblox is teasing that you’ll “see the Grammy-winning artist bring some of his favorite songs to life like never before.”

Before the concert, on November 13 at 4pm PST, you can tune in for a special Q&A session and check out a bunch of behind-the-scenes footage showing off how the concert was brought to life. You’ll also have a chance to unlock an exclusive Lil Nas X emote if you’re able to complete an in-game scavenger hunt.

The event will be aired three times:

  • Saturday, November 14 @ 1pm PST
  • Saturday, November 14 @ 10pm PST
  • Sunday, November 15 @ 9am PST

If you can’t wait until then, you’ll be glad to know the concert venue is already open. You can jump in today to explore the map and collect Lil Nas X-inspired gear – including a free Old Town Cowboy Hat. Roblox said more items will be available as we close in on November 14.

We don’t know much about what the concert will actually look like, but you can expect to see “Lil Nas X rendered digitally with motion-capture performance.” Beyond that, it’s anyone’s guess as to how the show will play out. Seeing as this is the first concert in Roblox history, we’re expecting it to go all-out and offer a powerful reason for players to return.

Lil Nas X is a Grammy-winning artist, who skyrocketed to fame with his Old Town Road single. Upon release it shot up the charts – and was only eclipsed in popularity by its remix with Billy Ray Cyrus.

The Roblox concert will debut on November 14 at 1pm PST, with encore performance later that night and the following morning.
