The Isle of Seiren is a large and foreboding island in Ys 8: Lacrimosa of Dana that has many obstacles for Adol Christin and company to traverse, sometimes being impeded by enemies or lacking specific tools that will allow you to reach new areas.

This is where Adventure Gear comes in, which you will obtain naturally by playing the game and, in some cases, tackling the many side activities present in the game, driving home the importance of exploration. From being able to tackle enemies in combat to climbing ivy-covered walls to being able to traverse through swampy land, there are many pieces of Adventure Gear for you to obtain, which will only expand the areas you can reach and discover.

Adventure Gear Overview

There are eleven pieces of Adventure Gear for you to obtain in Ys 8: Lacrimosa of Dana by progressing through the story and participating in the game's many side activities. While the more crucial ones are tied to the main storyline, you can miss some excellent ones if you aren't taking advantage of the other quests.

Additionally, you will only be able to equip one Adventure Gear at a time at the start of the game. Luckily, you can expand that limit to six slots by obtaining Guides, which you can do by progressing through the story and diving into the side activities. How To Expand Adventure Gear Slots

Adventure Gear is crucial in Ys 8: Lacrimosa of Dana, so expanding how many you can have equipped at a time is necessary for your adventures. Initially, you can only equip one Adventure Gear at a time, which can be tedious if you need to switch between them constantly. Fortunately for you, you can earn up to five additional slots, totaling six pieces of Adventure Gear you can equip simultaneously, making your life much easier.

If you already did the statue puzzles in the Valley of Kings, you will have to rotate the statues to reclose the door in order to obtain the Wind Guide.
