Earn a Shiny Pikachu or Eevee With Pokemon Pass for iOS and Android

The brand new Pokémon pass app is now live and will allow players to earn Pokémon digital rewards, including a Shiny Pikachu or Eevee for Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!

Announced by The Pokémon Company, the Pokémon Pass app can be downloaded for free right now on iOS or Android devices. It will feature events at participating retailers that allow fans to earn free Pokémon, photo stickers for phones like a Detective Pikachu one in honor of the upcoming film, and more.

The first big event is for the previously mentioned Shiny Pikachu or Eevee for Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! will run from May 11 through June 23 at participating Target stores. As long as fans have the Pokémon Pass app and have signed in with their Pokémon Trainer Club account, they will be able to earn these awesome rewards.

Each of the Shiny Pokémon will be level 10 and Pikachu will arrive with Thunderbolt, Double Kick, Double Team, and Thunder, while Eevee will come with Double-Edge, Iron Tail, Helping Hand, and Facade.

While there is no mention on if Pokémon Pass will support other titles, it’s pretty safe to assume that the upcoming Pokémon Sword and Shield will be utilizing this new way to reward its fans.

Pokémon Sword and Shield will be released on the Nintendo Switch later this year and we’ve gathered all the details one would need in one handy guide. In addition, be sure to check out our closer look at the new starters – Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble.
